What we're building
Spotonix is the AI analyst for business teams. It learns the business from what a customer already has — warehouse schema, semantic models, approved query history, and BI assets — and builds a per-customer Context Graph. It composes a plan you can read before any SQL runs, resolving ambiguity through a clarifying question instead of a guess. And it compounds — approved interpretations are persisted and retrieved, so the next question starts from settled meaning instead of a blank slate.
Unlike text-to-SQL, the LLM never writes the final answer. It proposes a plan you can read before any SQL runs; the system verifies and constrains it, then validates the generated SQL against the plan's accepted bindings before execution. Making that interpretation visible and governable — not a black box — is the hard, durable engineering we're hiring for.
Who we're looking for
We're at an exciting, early stage and hiring two founding engineering roles. Deep expertise in one is what we're after — bring it, and we'll teach you the rest.

You build query engines: relational algebra, query planning and optimization, MDX/OLAP, and execution across warehouses. You turn an approved plan into SQL and validate the generated SQL against the plan's accepted bindings before it runs. Background in a DB engine, MDX/BI engine, or query optimizer is ideal.

You build the Context Graph: ingesting warehouse schema, semantic models, approved query history, and BI assets into the layer the system reasons over. Background in a data catalog, metadata platform, or ETL / knowledge-graph system shines here.
